Get low-cost, gently-worn clothing for all seasons.

SHOPPING

The Clothes Closet is open to the public.

The Clothes Closet carries gently used and new clothing (men’s, women’s, and children’s), books, household items such as dishes and linens, and toys. Most adult clothing starts at $5 and kids’ clothing at $2. Items are marked down weekly.

GoochlandCares clients receive 20 credits ($20) per family member per month to spend at the Clothes Closet.

Shopping Hours:
Monday: no shopping, donations accepted 9am – 4pm
Tuesday: 9am – 7pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 9am – 4pm
Friday: 9am – 3pm
Saturday: 9am – noon

DONATIONS

Donations are accepted at the Clothes Closet every day except Sunday. The Clothes Closet accepts donations of new and gently used clothing, shoes, jewelry, fashion accessories and small household items including sheets, towels, home décor and small kitchen appliances in working order. Our greatest needs are always kids’ clothing and shoes, men’s clothing, and larger adult sizes. CLICK HERE FOR A COMPLETE LIST.

The Clothes Closet is located at the far end of the building around the corner. Donations brought after hours or on Sundays may be deposited in drop off bins on site.

Additional drop bin locations:
Goochland YMCA, Bullets, behind Fire Station #3 in Centerville, Western Convenience Center at 3455 Hadensville-Fife Road, and Central Convenience Center at 1908 Hidden Rock Lane.
